David Collise

Chef
I’ve been drawn to the water for as long as I can remember. Growing up as a Navy brat, I was born in Cuba and later moved to Ohio, where I spent countless hours fishing with my grandparents on Lake Erie. My other grandparents lived right on Lake Damariscotta in Maine, and my childhood was filled with days spent on the water or ice. When I moved to New Hampshire, my love for fishing really took off, especially for bass. It all started during childhood trips to Mascoma Lake with friends, and that’s when I discovered my passion for bass fishing and the thrill of tournaments.

As a Culinary Institute of America graduate, my career as a chef can make it tough to find time for fishing. But I always see the outdoors as a chance to relax, meditate, reflect, and create lasting memories. I’m working hard every day to turn my dream of fishing for a living into a reality.
